Results of 2019
The year of 2019 is coming to an end. This year has been dedicated to the system marketing and international development of the Bitbon System infrastructure, as well as has been full of events that can determine the entire future path of Simcord development.
The international roundtable “Standards of Blockchain Tools” of the Research Center of Legal Solutions in the Area of Application of Distributed Ledger Technologies has become one of such events that took place in Kyiv on December 11, 2019. Such relevant issues as integration of distributed ledger technologies and need for regulation of relations that arise from the use of the blockchain technology were discussed during the roundtable. Regarding the impressions of participants, as the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words”!
The Company has started official cooperation with a number of government institutions, for example, with the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine. It has resulted in the publication of scientific and legal opinions that, along with other documents confirming the legal nature of the Bitbon System, are separate appendices to the Bitbon Protocol. As part of this cooperation, the Company has also initiated the development and introduced the term “digital asset” into the international legal field in order to clearly outline what criteria and properties should be used to define a particular crypto instrument as a digital asset or a crypto currency.
A lot of Bitbon System Participants are looking forward to the next 2020 year, because the Company is planning to launch mining in the Bitbon System and introduce Bitbon into international exchanges. In this connection, Simcord has hosted master classes, trainings and seminars during the year, for example, a master class dedicated to the Bitbon System took place in Riga (Latvia).
Understanding that today the term “digital asset” means a lot for the development of a more perfect economy, the information economy based on the blockchain technology, the basis of which will be the universal equivalent — assets in digital form, the Company has conducted a series of research studies. Thus, it has resulted in the publication of research articles, one of which is “Substantiation of the Term “Digital Asset”: Economic and Legal Aspects”, as well as the first and the second (significantly supplemented) editions of the monograph “Digital Assets and Their Economic and Legal Regulation in the Light of the Blockchain Technology Development”.
Our resources have been significantly updated this year. To optimize the structure of the official website of Simcord Company and the official information resource of the Bitbon System — Bitbon Space website, we have added new sections and implemented a more perfect interface. The update of the Bitbon Space website involved the advanced technical and information architecture to implement the functionality of the Bitbon System.
We would like to separately note the role of Simcord as a co-organizer of several large international events, for example, the III Kharkiv International Legal Forum and the roundtable of the Research Center of Legal Solutions in the Area of Application of Distributed Ledger Technologies. In addition, the Company’s specialists in the fields of IT law and digital assets were among the speakers of those events.
In conclusion, we would like to add that we have determined the vector of Simcord activity for the entire year of 2020 and set the tasks that will be implemented in accordance with the stages of the Company’s development.
