Simcord’s Official Position Regarding Misconduct of an Official of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine

Simcord has been carrying out its activity in the IT sector for more than 11 years.

Since 2016, Simcord has identified the distributed ledger technology as a basis for creating its own unique product. Having been certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard of the quality management system in the field of research and development and production of highload software solutions based on the distributed ledger technology, the Company started its active work in the blockchain industry.

The successful implementation of the Bitbon System start-up stages (to learn more, follow the link: bitbon-system-start-up-en.pdf) aroused unhealthy interest from A. Bornyakov, the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

Since such actions of A. Bornyakov cause not only harm to Simcord but also significant damage to the image of Ukraine as a global provider of IT solutions, they entail the risk of our country losing its leadership in the emerging highly liquid market of tokenized assets and missing an opportunity to receive huge taxes and fees for the budget of Ukraine for the next 30 years. In this regard, the Company’s lawyers have prepared and submitted an official application to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).

Based on the fact that no response from NABU was received within the statutory period, we consider it necessary to bring up the situation that developed around Simcord’s activity to the public judgment.
